I'm thinking of adding a blogroll in the new year. What other blogs do FlynnFiles readers read? What blogs do you recommend? Why?
These are my bedrock blogs:
Front Page Magazine
Michelle Malkin
California Conservative
Beautiful Atrocities
All Things Beautiful
The New Criterion
Commentary
Victor Davis Hanson
NRO
I'll come up with some honorable mentions tomorrow.
Humaneventsonline
Redstate
TheAgitator
MichelleMalkin.com
The Corner
(and of course) MattLewis.org
WorldNet Daily
Ann Coulter
FrontPage Mag
Drudge Report
Counterterrorism Blog
Majority Rights--sometimes a bit extreme, but interesting stuff
Steve Sailer-- sometimes not extreme enough, and sometimes his arguments seem off, but always has a fresh take on the news
Smash Left Wing Scum-- a bit too in your face sometimes, but I have a few friends who blog there
LRC Blog
Antiwar.com Blog
VDARE Blog
Modern Tribalist-- best source on the latest atrocities of PC
Hard Right --
Gene Expression-- News in sociobiology and behavioral genetics
Para Pundit
View From the Right-- sometimes a bit too serious, but has interesting takes on liberalism, multiculturalism and the like
I advocate Thomas Sowell's articles.
An@lytic Philosopher - won't let me type the correct link, www.an@lphilosopher.com, the @=a
I would recommend...
isteve.com
lewrockwell.com (best blog by far)
antiwar.com (blog)
vdare.com (blog)
and because he seems to be the most vocal critic of the coming police state in America... I would say Alex Jones
www.infowars.com
Here's a few sites that come to mind that I think can be categorized as "blogs". in no particular order:
Red State
http://www.redstate.org/
The Corner
http://corner.nationalreview.com/
Instapundit ~ Glen Reynolds
http://instapundit.com/
Mickey Kaus
http://www.kausfiles.com/
Michelle Malkin
http://www.michellemalkin.com/
LaShawn Barber’s Corner
http://lashawnbarber.com/
Scrapple Face ~ Scott Ott
http://www.scrappleface.com/
David Horowitz’s Blog
http://www.frontpagemag.com/blog/index.asp
Power Line
http://www.powerlineblog.com/
Last Angry Men
http://www.thelastangrymen.blogspot.com/
Aside from the news, politics, and media blogs, I would recommend throwing in a few music and sports blogs: http://www.livemusicblog.com/ is one general blog that covers rock/popular music. There are a few others. And while there are many bands and artists who have blogs of their own, there’s little a rock star has to say that I would find interesting.
However, as it relates to sports, outright support of the Red Sox is perhaps in order and a blog like http://www.bostondirtdogs.com/ would be recommended.
Also, differentiating from actual blogs, I would link to a few preferred columnists and writers that don’t have "blogs", but link to them by way of their homepage or an updated column.
The Daily Eudemon
Eunomia
Surfeited with Dainties
Man Sized Target
Glaivester
Tim Carney
Clark Stooksbury
and, of course, HARD RIGHT
Honorable Mentions:
Fightin' with Grabes - guanubian.blogspot.com
Merri Musings - merrimusings.typepad.com
Natalie Solent - nataliesolent.blogspot.com
baldilocks - baldilocks.typepad.com
The People's Cube - thepeoplescube.com
You asked why:
Grabes because he's he asks harder questions than many other bloggers, left and right, see his original essays on Leftism, the Washington DC sniper.
mm, ns, and baldi - midwest &or canadian perspectives
people's cube - do I have to spell it out for you...?
Of the first picks:
California Conservative and Beautiful Atrocities are serious, funny and make good use of pics & quotes
All Things Beautiful takes the visual possibilities of intelligent, conservative blogging to a whole new level.
I recommend Error Theory. Why do I read it? To check for typos after I write it. Why should others read it? Well right now, because I need all the help I can get exposing the phoney "redesign" of the Crescent of Embrace Flight 93 memorial. The new Bowl of Embrace retains ALL of the features that made the Crescent an Islamo-fascist shrine. Help!
Another honorable mention:
moxie.nu/blog.php - is a slick chickblog from LA (don't miss her fotos of John Kerry)
I realize I am out of the Flynn Files mainstream, but these are the blogs i recommend.

The American Thinker - http://www.americanthinker.com/index.php
Tastes great and is less filling - lotsa articles, no fluff.
http://www.@nalphilosopher.com/http://cathyseipp.journalspace.com/
http://www.bookerrising.blogspot.com/
interesting folks in the comments with cathy seipp. Some annoying, some smart. Topics tend to revolve around media.
@nalphilospher is smart, organized, and funny.
bookerrising is just an interesting perspective. Some good posters and commenters.
www.idthefuture.com
dialogicalcoffeehouse.com
www.designinference.com
discovery.org
I only view FlynnFiles daily. Sometimes I view Americablog.com, or is it .org, I don't remember, anyway, I like to view that blog occasionally to get an opposing perspective. Dan Flynn has by far the most compelling blog on the web with the most diverse topics. Get the word out, folks! Start advertising, Mr. Flynn!
www.craigdeluz.com is worth looking at, too -
