Need evidence of Republican dissatisfaction with Rudy McRomney? So unimpressed are the party faithful with the media-appointed frontrunners for the GOP nomination that Fred Thompson, an unannounced candidate who hasn't participated in any of the debates and has done little campaigning, polls a close second to Rudy in the LA Times/Bloomberg poll released today. McRomney trailed. The message to Rudy McRomney? To know you isn't to love you.
Fred Thompson was in Die Hard 2 and also The Hunt for Red October. That's the kind of leadership we need in the White House.
I don't get his at all. This is like the 'Obama' effect for the Republicans. Except that Obama has actually declared.

I mean this is not a grassroots movement. He's been manipulating this through press releases since day one.
That's a headline: 'media manipulates news'. This is, first and foremost, drama that sells. And guess what? They will say anything to sell!!!
Thompson is just riding the wave.
Another good example is even though it was shown that a majority of Americans were and are against illegal immigration time and time again the mainstream media came up with news that stated the opposite. When they did occasionally acknowledge that people were up in arms about the issue, they refuse to give respect to the intelligence of the unwashed and blamed it on the 'right wing' talk radio crowd.

The only republican candidate who is a real Reaganlike conservative is not even mentioned in the LA times poll. Ron Paul's stance on the war causes some (Hannity) to label him a "crackpot", While he probably doesn't have a prayer, letting his message on small government be heard will remove the smug smiles off the face of the frontrunners. Btw he is not against a strong military- another common misconception.
