As a transgendered small business owner and former professional race walker I know first hand the trials and pitfalls of being a minority in a hateful world. Add to it the hyper manly world of professional race walking and you have a powder keg of machismo which often results in violence. I wish you would talk about the pioneers of transgendered athletics such as Kurt "elmo" Brown and Mike "receiver" Mitchelli. It would do you some good to read their biographies.
