I haven't seen such cheerleading disguised as journalism since, well, Bill Clinton first ran for president in 1992.

Ok. This is West Virginia we are talking about. This is NOT a swing state, it is southern, and dark RED. We all forget that West Virginia was created during just prior to our Civil War because of their views on slavery. If you live in West Virginia, you would know that very few white democrats exist to begin with. I do not see why the media is making this victory sounds so big....Hillary was ahead 2 to 1 in West Virginia a year ago...so nothing but the expected happened. Hillary and Obama, would not win the general elections in West Virginia....Jesus Christ could not win the elections in West Virginia....unless he is Southern, Republican and not much of a scholar.

I and my family support Hillary Clinton at the end of this campaign! She is the BEST CANDIDATE to go against McCain, but what happen? I see in the Democratic Party WOMAN can't be front runner! It is machist party! They know Sen. Obama has republican support because if the party is divided, they can win easy... and they make the deal! Sen. Obama is a Republican Party "deal".....I think I am in the wrong party!

Luis, West Virginia is a Democratic state. True, it went for GWB in 2000 and 2004, but before that it went for Clinton twice and Dukakis in 1988. The state hasn't had a Republican senator since the 1950s. Of the five West Virginians in Congress, one is a Republican. The state's governor is a Democrat. Both houses of the state legislature are controlled by Democrats.

let me butt in for a minute here....
We can't count West Virginia as a BIG win for Hillary because it is a "dark red state" and as stated on CNN "West Virginia's wouldn't vote for a black man." However we aren't allowed to say that Obama only won the southern states because of the majority black vote....shouldn't those cancel each other out?

ANYONE BUT OBAMA - I read on the blogs a few days ago that Obama candidacy was Carl Rove idea to guarantee republicans will win in November. (This man is a diabolic genius) I swear it must be true!! Obama is not electable. But if we see it why can't the DNC superdelgates see it?

It is incredible to see the DNC's obstination in losing yet one more presidential election. If anyone had any doubt that Hillary was the better candidate at the beginning of the primary contests, these doubts should have dissipated by now: since then, Hillary is a much better and much stronger candidate. She not only has connected with millions of Democrats who did not care for her, she has also gained the respect of most conservative Republicans who used to despise her: Pat Buchanan, N. Gingrich, Karl Rove and many others...
Meanwhile Obama has shown to be a phoney , inexperienced politician who will say and do anything to win the nomination. His lofty and substance free rethoric now sounds hollow and his so-called "judgment " has sshown to be flawed by the company he keeps...
But the media and pundits decided that he would be the man, and they are unrelenting in thei biaes coverage toward him.
But the American people will have their say in November and will elect McCain! Because millions of lifelong Democrats like me will vote for McCain rather than a lying, inexperienced snake oil salesman like Obama who lies to us abbout his relationships with shady characters, and his own true beliefs!

To date, Obama's only contribution as a Senator has been a bill he's written that would appropriate billions of our dollars for Congo relief. I wonder what obama told kerry when kerry found out he said he wasn't fit to be president and shouldn't have run in 04 because he voted for iraq war.
