The Boston Herald reports that Massachusetts has donated more money per capita to the Barack Obama campaign than any other state. You don't say? The $10.2 million divides into $1.58 per Bay State resident. Massachusetts out-gave Vermont and Illinois (Obama's home state) to become the top cash cow for Obama to milk. Obama did not win Massachusetts in the primaries, but given his early support from the state's governor and two senators, and the disproportion in party registration, the money explosion should not surprise. No word yet on which of the 58 states sunk the least per capita into Obama's heavy coffers.
Dan:
I would like to get a $l.58 back from the Democratic Party of Massachusetts so when I get home from Charleston, S.C., I can pay for the last toll going from Sturbridge to Weston to get onto Rte. 128. Actually I will be coming back from Knoxville, TN and that is 940 miles and the only other toll that I will pay is the Newburgh Bridge on the upper Hudson. Our state is a disaster financially and between Devil Patrick and the liberal Mass. legislature we will be paying alot more as the years roll by and the Democrats will benefit as they keep their pet socialist experiment going.
Always like looking online to "Flynn Files" and find a refreshing voice of reason who is helping to stem the tide of socialism in our country. Who would know better than a 40 year postal veteran. Take care of yourself.
In the last 30 years or so, Massachusetts has gone from a relatively fiscally sane state to a completely insane leftist welfare state where little control is maintained.
Can't wait to GTF out of here and live somewhere where legislators don't work part time for generous full time salaries (plus multiple perks) and are not free wheeling obstructionists to the constitutional/legal process.
