Same Old Democrats

Democrats sound different now that the election is one week in the past instead of one week in the future. Senator Barbara Boxer vows "a very long process of extensive hearings" on global warming. "We might do away with it," says Congressman Bennie Thompson, incoming chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, on the border fence being constructed. He suggests the possibility of "A virtual fence rather than a real one," whatever that means. "Health care is coming back," Hillary Rodham Clinton promises. "It may be a bad dream for some." Might it be a bad dream for Hillary, who, more than anyone but her husband and Newt Gingrich, exiled Congressional Democrats into minority status after attempting to push her bureaucratic nightmare of Hillary-care? The costume party is over; the disguises are off. The real faces are a lot scarier than their masks.

Obviously he is referring to the space based mind-control weapons that we could unleash on the Mexicans unless Dennis Kucinich successfully bans them.

In two years, they'll be out of time and out of office. They're already out of ideas.

All you need to hear are the names Reid,(Gitmo Americans are like Nazis) Durbin and Schumer when positions of party leadership are discussed and you know where the Dems are headed.

Was there ever any doubt that this bunch of washed out hippies would leave their Volkswagon Vans just long enough to take advantage of what they perceived as Viet Nam 2 and pile on george Bush just like they did to Nixon? Well now they're Lyndon Johnson. Good for them . Let's see what they can do.

It's a beautiful thing. They're eating their own already. Carville calling for Dean to resign with charges of "Rumsfeldian" incompetence. If nothing else, the next couple of years will be entertaining. That is if we're not all speaking Mexican by then.
