When Al Gore lost the 2000 election, he tried to sue his way into the White House. Four years later, John Kerry is getting battered and bloodied by opposition attacks and he, predictably, calls in the lawyers. The Kerry-Edwards ticket has failed to effectively parry or counterpunch the blows dealt by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Democrats have asked the attorney general to investigate links between the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and the Bush campaign, based on a lawyer who worked for both groups. This latest bit of feigned indignation comes from a party that shares a lawyer with Moveon.org. While the Democrats are at it, why don't they ask John Ashcroft to investigate them too.
I would like to respectfully refute the assertaion that Al Gore tried to sue his way into the White House. Election 2000 was a very close election and both sides needed a cadre of lawyers to help sort out thier options. Bush's lawyers won.
As to the recent allegations of trechary from the Liberal-Lawyer axis, it is indeed illegal for a 527 to have coordinated its activity with a Presidential campaign. The fact that the Bush campaign shared a lawyer with a 527 is suspicious, and it is the legal resposibilty of the Justice Department to investigate the matter.
You're right though Dan. Kerry has not fought back well enough. I am ashamed of the man for not coming out with an ad that challenges the President to have the balls to say what the 527 is. Or an ad that compares his service with that of AWOL Bush.
DB,
You should start your own underground newspaper with all the drivel your spewing on this blog. I recommend you target the political views of the frindge left reader with your amazing wordsmith techniques and run on sentences.
You'll be sure to entice the vast majority of mental patience recently released from Federal and State run institutions because of bugetary reasons and or over population. I have a suggestion for the title of your periodical.....call it "The swollen balloon knot"
Hey, "The Brim" first I'd like to give you a big FU! Then I would like to point out just how retarded your post is. First, you misspelled mental patients. I mean jesus christ! Second, there are no mental insitutions anymore, 90percent of them have been closed since drugging has been envouge. Third, I do not use run-on sentences. I use long sentences that any literate person could understand. Read the speechs and writtings of our Founding Fathers. They wrote in the same manner. Fourth, the "drivel" that I am "spewing" are indeed facts that your biased brain cannot allow into its conscience. Fifth, my views are in no way the sole property of what you call the "finge left". There is no left and right in this debate. There is a right and wrong. Bush is wrong. Sixth, the correct notation of the expression is "and/or", not "and or". Seventh, there already exist pleanty of "underground" newspapers that tell the truth about our nation. But you'll never understand them so long as you live in your corporate bubble of ignorance, reading NewsMax, watching FoxNews, listening to Rush Limbaugh, and raising your children on Disney movies.
Wake up sir. Accept the truth you fear.
DB, Don't cry...it's not good for your credibility. As far as spell check, I type in the moment and quite quick so any I can live with any errors....after all it's a blog not a thesis. As far as mental institutions...for argument sack I'll give you the 90% closed theory...that still leaves 10% of your target market.....you knob.
I find it amazing that DB knows what I watch and read. Unfortunately your wrong on all counts. I hate to burst your liberal bubble but you are far from omniscient. Your more unbalanced than I thought. Please continue to express your thoughts and opinions. I quite enjoy your remarks. Good Day.
Thanks for backing up those accusation with facts. Its refreshing.
Speaking of refreshing, after that exchange you guys should each grap a Fresca and chill.
