"Is this an attempt by the right-wing, hate machine to silence one of our own?," asked Jon Elliot of fellow Air America host Randi Rhodes reported "mugging." "Are we threatening them? Are they afraid that we’re winning? Are they trying to silence intimidate us?" Well, no. Contrary to these insinuations on Air America, gangs of conservatives aren't roaming the streets of New York in search of Air America hosts to pummel. The ratings do that job for us. Randi Rhodes' dog, not heretofore known as a reactionary, apparently caused her fall. But the neanderthals make a better culprit than the canine. Perhaps if they make a Warriors II, the Angry White Men--bedecked in Barry Goldwater glasses and impersonating the mannerisms of William F. Buckley--might appear at Central Park gang conventions alongside the Baseball Furies and the Lizzies. Back in real life, such marauders don't exist. If Air America can't get the basic facts right when one of their own is in the news, how can anyone trust them to report the news outside of their own world in an accurate manner? Alas, some people prefer fantasy to reality.
They're still on the air?
Liberals in general just continue to demonstrate childish and irresponsible behavior. We can't afford to let their ilk run this country down the tubes.
warriors come out and PLAYIEEEEEEEEEE! hey dan you forgot the gramicy riffs. but i think they would be LIBS.

I would say the same with Mitch McConnell and the right wing slime machine regarding Graeme Frost and the SCHIP Health Care issue.
Get real. There is no "slime" issue regarding the Frost eligibility. Their elibility was not in question as they are shrewd and knew how to work the system. Thus, their spawn were covered by the program.
If there was any “sliming” (hey RC, you can read!) it was from Herr Reid and the crew making it seem like those bad old Republicans had an agenda against sick kids.
In fact, it was the Dumb Dems who hauled them out of the woodwork and took them on the road as examples of how “the children” need the program. The Republicans just did a little digging into the Frost's backgrounds to question who and why certain groups are eligible for this public largesse and found that, although they met the criteria, they were fairly well off and probably could have afforded their own private health care.
The original intent of the SCHIP was to insure that kids who were from families not financially eligible for Medicaid would be covered.
But, in their quest to chip away at the system and work toward completely socialized health care, the Dems want to raise the financial eligibility and, in the process, rework he law to include not only “the children” but adults and illegals.
Another example of how the Dems want to undermine our systems and make sure we pay for it.
