Fahrenheit 9/11 is, surprise, a hit with the French. The film played to packed houses upon its opening yesterday in France.
"Even if a majority of the French thought this," a young theater-goer said of the film's message, "I think that now they have a confirmation."
No, now we have a confirmation--or perhaps a reconfirmation. The French hate America. The bestseller status of The Appalling Fraud, a book that claims a plane didn't crash into the Pentagon on 9/11, indicates this, as does polling showing America with a 37 percent approval rating among the French. The wild success of Fahrenheit 9/11 in France provides further proof of France's nationwide Napoleon Complex when it comes to America.
As i find my self frequently saying well put Dan. If Moore hates america so much why doesnt he just move to france or hell hes made enough money off of american tragedys to buy a mansion out there.We all know if Gore would of been elected Moore would of never made this movie after 9/11. Lets face it 9/11 didnt happen cause Bush caused or or becouse Bush was in office it happend becouse we are america and the we are a target for the most part as is almost all of europe.This movie was simply made becouse Moore is liberal and hates bush Gore could of done all the same things as Bush and more would of never had a problem with it becouse Gore is labled as a democrat. Pure and simple Moore hates conservatives he hates the patriots of this country he hates the troops and most importantly Michael Moore hates america. (by the way that will be a great movie i recomend every one sees Wilsons film when it comes out.
I have to say this breaking the client/hairdresser code of silence. I was cutting a young French boys hair today and we happened to get into a conversation about Michael Moorer and Fahrenheit 9/11 and it would come as no suprise to anyone that this puke thought everything that Moorer put in his crackpot movie was true. His points on the war and the U.S in general was enough for me to want to choke hime out, then i thought to myself.. Why not find his parents who somehow came to America and pretend to be a psuedo citizens and let them know what i really feel. 1. That i hate a country that will never fight its own battle without crying foul! 2. The fact that all of France would be speaking German if it weren't for the U.S.A is a fact, as is the reality that 99% of all French dislike Americans and dont have the balls to say it!

You posed the question about why Moore doesn't move to France. Michael Moore does hate The United States, and he does, ideologically, match the French well. However, he will never move there, because Michael Moore wouldn't want to pay French taxes. Instead, he just goes around spreading anti-American propaganda, so that other countries such as France will hate us more.
About without France you would still be an English colony.
The real problem is that USA was build recently after genociding all it's natives , also Hawaii,then enslaved millions of Africans ,then ruling the world
with it's military power and McDonalds.
Basically what French think of Americans is not so bad, IGNORANTS with no history.
