Calling medical homicide "an act of mercy," Right Wing News's John Hawkins writes, "Much as it pains me to do so, I'm forced to agree with the French on [euthanasia]." He concedes, "I suspect that a majority of people reading RWN are not going to agree with me." Hawkins is dead wrong. Tons of conservatives I know would enthusiastically support euthanasia for the French.
ill gladly give the injections to all the cowards...whoops i mean the French
Let us face a simple fact: the very essence of personal liberty regards the continuation - or extermination - of your own life. THAT is what freedom IS. Conservatives love to throw around ugly-isms like "Freedom ain't free" and "Peace is a bitch, gotta break her 'fore ye enjoy her"; yes, these are rather languid vacations from the land of logic and heavy reasoning, and the aren't worth the pig that shit them out. If you're alive, you deserve to dictate the date of your death; if you're dying of a disease, you deserve any drug you want any time you want it, 'cause it's YOUR LIFE. (You don't have to be dying of a disease to be afforded any drug, in my ideal scenario; you just have to ask and it/they is/are given to you.) So that's that.
I'm dying. I want to kill myself. If I can't choose that option, send me anywhere, just get me out of this country. Now. 'Cause I want to be free.
