Al-Takeyya

The Islamic principle of lying for the sake of Allah. Falsehoods told to prevent denigration of Islam, to protect oneself, or to promote the cause of Islam are sanctioned by the Qur'an, including lying under penalty of perjury in testimony before the United States Congress, lying or making distorted statements to the media such as claiming that Islam is a religion of peace, and deceiving fellow Muslims when the one lying has deemed them to be apostates. The word literally means to protect or guard against and conveys the principle that Muslims are permitted to lie as a preventative measure to protect themselves and Islam, especially in life or liberty threatening circumstances. It is important that the Muslim does not mean it in his heart, however. The concept of Al-Takeyya is based on the following verse in the Qu’ran:

Let not the believers take for friends or helpers unbelievers rather than believers; if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah, except by way of prevention that ye may guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you to remember Himself for the final goal is to Allah. Surah 3:28

Further, the concept of Al Takeyya permits behavior of a Muslim that is contrary to his faith if pretending to befriend infidels, and may:

Consume alcohol
Skip prayers
Skip fasting during the month of Ramadan
Renounce his belief in Allah
Pray to another diety in place of Allah
Lie under oath
(eating pork?)

The Hadith
One of Mohammed’s daughters (Umm Kalthoum) stated that she never heard him condone or promote lying except under three specific situations:

To reconcile the people of Islam;
In times of war against the infidels;
To a spouse to keep harmony within a family.

Wright’s “church” which was not a Christian one but was based on Black Liberation Theology? Or that he was recruited out of Columbia by Saudis and red carpeted into the most prestigious Harvard Law on the former’s dime? Or how in September of 08’, in an interview with George Stephanopoulos, he had to be corrected when he said “my Muslim faith”. Or is it the way that foreign middle eastern money bankrolled his run at the Presidency or maybe it was his Cairo speech were he said that America is a predominantly Muslim nation or how he bowed low in reverence to his Saudi Sheik benefactor. Or how he disrespected the Prime Minister of Israel while months later he praised the head of the Palestinians who supports Hamas. Or maybe it’s the fact that his stated plan is to turn NASA into a Muslim outreach program, or it could be his support of a mosque on hallowed American ground or the fact that he supports morally and financially the imam of that mosque to go on a middle eastern “outreach” (read: fund raising) junket on our dime. And now, since his meetings with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in 2009, observing the fruits of an ever more un-stable middle East shifting power from marginal Arab leaders to hard core Muslims.

Outside of those things, why would anybody think he’s a stealth Muslim?

Politicians make verbal gaffs all the time, this hardly proves anything. See: Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, George Bush, John McCain, et. al.

What percentage of his campaign was "bankrolled" by "foreign middle eastern money"? You do realize that it's conservatives who support money from foreign corporations and entities being permissible during U.S. elections, right? It was the Roberts court who ratified this radical change in campaign finance law.
