The Golden State has forbidden derogatory references to homosexuality in its textbooks and mandated classroom instruction on the "role and contributions" of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders. As with race and all other human traits that differentiate them, liberals’ obsession with highlighting that people’s differences should not be highlighted is inconsistent and hypocritical.

As political and economic freedom diminishes, sexual freedom tends compensatingly to increase. And the dictator (unless he needs cannon fodder and families with which to colonize empty or conquered territories) will do well to encourage that freedom.
