Remember when Newsweek lambasted skeptics of man-made global warming as "the denial machine" in an infamous cover story that even their own writers ridiculed as propaganda? Well, just three summers later, the weekly has changed its tune. And as my column @ Human Events explains, this isn't the first time Newsweek has had an about-face on climate change. The golden age of the greens has faded to black.

Even with the mounds of evidence pointing to what scam the Global Warming religion is, the economic manipulation and the control offered to the statists in the name of it will not be lost on deniers and skeptics.

It doesn't matter to Marxists like Obama that pouring OUR money into 'green' technologies is an economic loser or that, as Spain discovered before dumping their 'green' jobs programs, the creation of one 'green' job sees the disposal of 2.2 regular jobs. No matter, Obama and his crew are into collateral damage don't you know.

But the uninformed masses have woken up partially and even a major spill in the Gulf staged for never to be wasted crisis does not shake people enough to have them clamoring about how evil oil is. Because, the average person have finally figured out what the agenda driven eco-nuts fail to recognize: until a viable alternative comes along, we are still going to be dependent on black gold and that the environment will suffer little from man's short existence on this planet.
