Hero

President Bush presented the Congressional Medal of Honor to the 11-year-old son of Sergeant First Class Paul Smith. Smith rebuffed an assualt on Baghdad's airport by manning a .50 caliber machine-gun and laying down more than 300 rounds on the enemy until laying down his life in defense of his comrades. Smith's posthumous award is the first since 1993.

As a fellow Veteran myself and I would just like to say he deserved it for the ultimate sacrifice he made. God bless his family.

That would be HUA Sarge.

No its HOOAH...did you ever eat the HOOAH energy bar before, put out by the same people who made the MREs? I spelled it correctly.

Posted by: SGT. Slaughter on April 5, 2005 01:15 PM

It's an acronym Sarge. Know what it stands for?

And, yes, there is an energy bar that is named and spelled 'HOOAH' which sounds remarkably like 'HUA' of which each letter stands for a word.

Bustin' em'.

Actually the SGT is right. HOOAH is the correct term. The Army sells T-shirts that say "HOOAH, its an Army thing". And they sell the energy bar. HOOAH means "Hurry Up And Wait". As a Army veteran myself I should know. By the way, did anyone ever like the taste of those HOOAH bars?

James, as an army vet, you SHOULD know. But, you would be wrong. HOOAH is the phonetic spelling of the actual acronym. Don't they teach you dogfaces nothing? And, how do you get "hurry up and wait" out of HOOAH?

H.U.A. -

I provided the website i am correct...'nuff said

Posted by: James on April 6, 2005 03:52 PM

No, you're not. And, you're not getting it.

H.U.A. turned into HUA which turned into HOOAH which sounds cooler and looks better.

Something like F.U.B.A.R which in most circles is spelled and referenced as FUBA or FUBAH.

But, if you insist...........Yes, you are right.
