Qaddafi and His Killers

Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi died in a manner befitting him. A thug who killed innocents at home and abroad, Qaddafi deposed is better than Qaddafi enthroned. That said, the brutal manner of his death--I'll spare you the video link that I wish I had been spared--suggests that his successors may not be what we envision as a success. One could chalk up kicking the crap out of their injured oppressor as catharsis forty-two years in the making. But summarily executing an unarmed, wounded man is a Qaddafi move. Today's liberators often surprise by becoming tomorrow's oppressors. Don't say these guys didn't warn us.

Ya think?

And President Chaos certainly worked harder to get rid of this guy and Murbarak that he has on any other issue since in office. Why?

Guess he and the Muslim Brotherhood have an understanding.

"A thug who killed innocents at home and abroad, Qaddafi deposed is better than Qaddafi enthroned."

I'm sorry, did we all forget the part where we made a deal with this guy to give up his nuclear program/terrorist ties in return for lifting of UN and US sanctions? And, please forgive me if I missed the part where he violated the agreement?
So, if you make a deal with one Administration, you better watch out, because the next election could find you in a rat hole, murdered by thugs ENABLED BY NATO BOMBING CAMPAGINS?

How was Libya ever an issue for us? You better believe it will be now. Does this end? Ever? We're now getting entangled in Uganda, while ignoring Somalia and its total disruption of commerce for OVER A DECADE. Entangled increasingly in Syria while ignoring The China/Russia/Iran nexus-threat - which will CONSUME us in the next 20 years if we continue on this course. Threating to go to war with Pakistan.

WTF!!!!!!!

What you said. And I could not agree with you more.

This type of thing is one of the reasons why minor league Third World players are pushed to develop and own nuclear weapons.

There is at least as much or more torture and oppression in many other countries, but they won't be touched. Hell, Kim Jong Il is starving his people to death, but you don't see any progressive humanitarian efforts to take him out!

Blood letting in other countries and un-Constitution regime change to push a progressive agenda seems only to be acceptable under Democrat rule. Go figure.

Frankly, the lesson of Qaddafi learned by 3rd World strongmen is that they need a nuke. That is how North Korea stands us off. When you make nice with us, Obama helps run you out.

Obama and his crew are typical leftist cowards and will only and always go after the low hanging fruit, military or otherwise. All the while pontificating self righteousness and framing any action around a perceived hunamitarian effort.

It's all one big diversion from his steady string of failures in this country.

What's ironic and expected is when there is a REAL military action that requires planning, patience and perserverance, the Dems run away.

But the O and his ilk seem to like the small, expedient skirmishes that are operated outside of our laws and that circumvent congress.

I think when it came down to it, he would have probably been executed if gone to trial. And yeah, he probably got what he deserved.

But what bothers me about these images and video's of his last moments was the celebration. The chanting like a crazed blood thirsty cult "God is great!!"

The dancing, the shouting, shooting guns into the air. Something you might see in Raider's of the Lost Ark movie.

I'm sorry but if these are the people taking over this Govt. what's changed? A more entensified hate for Christians and Jews?
