No man is above the law, including presidents. The enthusiasm for this precept among presidents can be gauged by the reaction by Chavez, Castro, Ortega, and Obama to the removal of Honduran would-be usurper Mel Zelaya. Mary Anastasia O'Grady's piece in the Wall Street Journal is must-reading on this front. Zelaya, apparently hoping to become a minor-league Chavez (himself a minor-league Castro), disregarded the nation's constitution in an effort to extend the duration of his reign. "While Honduran law allows for a constitutional rewrite, the power to open that door does not lie with the president," O'Grady writes. "A constituent assembly can only be called through a national referendum approved by its Congress. But Mr. Zelaya declared the vote on his own and had Mr. Chávez ship him the necessary ballots from Venezuela." Shortly thereafter, the Honduran Supreme Court, aided by the military, decided Venezuela might be a better stomping grounds for the strongman Zelaya.

This whole action was in defense of democracy as exercised by the Constitution of Honduras. Zelaya wanted to change the Constitution by Presidential fiat to extend the limits of his term(s). He was rejected by the Congress. He was rejected by the Supreme Court who ordered the military to remove him – legally. He fired the military commander who was promptly un-fired by the Supreme Court and directed to again remove El Presidente. Contrary to the crowd who think that everything the military does in South or Central America is a coup, this was a legal military action as dictated by the legally and democratically elected representatives of a sovereign nation.

But, let us assess: on one side, we have a government attempting to legally stick with the rule of law as defined by their Constitution – on the other side we have Castro, Chavez, Ortega, Clinton and Obama railing against that.

Should this be a surprise to anyone,who has an IQ in double digits? I realize the 60's era losers,who have lived a lie most of their pathetic life, thus migrating to academia or the MSM,so they never have to face the real world.

Obama has hung out with hardcore Marxists (starting with Stalinist supporter and first mentor Franklin Marshall Davis who was a member of CPUSA), then hard core Marxist, the cowardly Billy Ayers, member of a socialist party (The New Party). Then the dimwit Obama becomes defensive when challenged on his socialist and Marxist background, making weak claims that,even though his own pathetic excuse for a father was a Marxist,and just because most of his closest friends are socialists or Marxists,doesn't mean he is a socialist.

All the while the brain dead media overlooks the ridiculous ideas that european socialism actually produces anything other than, poverty,misery,and a lifetime of depending on government. No sane person would believe western Europe with their double digit unemployment rates, miniscule economic growth, and ridiculous tax rates,designed solely to punish acheivement.
Then of course Obama likes the fact, that most western European leaders have his mindset of appeasement, save Britian.

Then you have the useful idiots, especially the 60's era losers in academia, rewriting history, all to avoid personal accountability in believing in an ideology, Marxism, that killed over 150 million people. These losers in academia still are living their sick lies and indoctrinating young minds about the great merits of Marxism.

The MSM, Obama, and the vast majority of professors have never drawn a breath of air from the real world, they have sucked the government teet their entire lives.
