'Throw Me the Idol, I'll Give You the Whip'

North Korea demands that the United States provide it with a nuclear-power plant, and then in return, North Korea will abandon its efforts to build nuclear weapons. Somebody in the White House should show President Bush Raiders of the Lost Ark so that he understands that this sort of deal never works out in the end.

Wasn't this Clinton's deal with Pyongyang, more or less? I don't see any deal absent our unhindered investigatory presence on their soil.

The only difference is that we don't have some big-ass boulder rolling towards us...

What's the rush?

Why doesn't President Knucklehead throw Clinton back on the case?

NK would have their reactor, more missles, bigger ba!!$ and half the females in Pyongyang would be pregnant.

At this point it's clear the best solution is to simply bomb the North Korean facilities.

...OR...continue to bankrupt them. Which is apparently working, from this absurd demand. Or, maybe they just think that since we were willing to make such extreme concessions before, we'd do so again. I hope it's the former...

Somehow I think Kim Jong Il is still living the good life, even though North Korea is going bankrupt.
