2003-2004 Campus Speaking Wraps Up

I just returned to Washington (the one with cheap crack and lots of monuments) from the other Washington (the one with apples and grunge music). My event last night at the University of Washington concluded my travels to campuses for the 2003-2004 school year. No hecklers, no disruptions--it was a nice way to end the year. I have spoken at 25 schools in 15 states since the start of the school year. While a few events this semester featured some uninvited shouting from audience members, things have quieted down since last semester--when I was shouted down by a mob, the focus of a 'hate speech' inquiry, and subjected to unstable leftists crying and swearing during my lectures.

I find it ironic that you choose to use pejoritive labels on all who disagree with your fascist ideas. Those of us who have the courage to stand up on college campus today and speak up against the rights hateful bile are so often labeled as unstable. I am a 26 year old second year sophmore at a university where you have had one of your beer hall pustch's and felt compelled to rise up in protest. I take a half course load, work part time in a food co-op, volunteer at a sex-positive teen retreat center and have only spent a small amount of time in court ordered phychiatric care. Despite all of my intrests I find the time to organize protests against all right of center speakers, thinkers and dressers. You may have noticed me at your last speech. I was the one with the dread locks and brown tooth who started speaking in tounges halfway through your vile speech. Truth be told I wasn't really protesting but had actually accidently urinated in my pants and set off my court ordered ankle monitor. Good day sir.
