Anecdotal evidence such as a heat wave is proof of the doctrines of the Church of Global Warming to its congregants. A Blizzard, strangely, is too. The New York Times today explains, "Most climate scientists respond that the ferocious storms are consistent with forecasts that a heating planet will produce more frequent and more intense weather events." Most people, thankfully, are not that stupid yet.
You know, it struck me yesterday as they kicked us all out of work early due to a blizzard that never happened that if people who studied meteorology and have advanced degrees in it and who have all of the latest technological equipment to help track the weather and predict it in the short term, can't predict the weather, why would I believe a politician or an environmentalist when they tell me that the world is going to burn up in 10 or 20 years because I'm driving an SUV?

It's difficult applying empirical data in a logical fashion to one's vision. What we do know, indisputably, is that the world's great polluters have the blood of billions on their hands. The carbon credit system is a fraud, and Goldman Sachs and other private tyrants are poised to reap billions from the public coffers (with the assistance of their servant, the state, gleefully supported by crypto-fascist conservatives), while spreading misery in typical fashion. Sadly, the conservative peasants are their biggest cheerleaders as they bleat and squeal about "costs being passed onto consumers", without giving a thought to the notion that goods and services that sodomize the Earth and murder humans probably shouldn't be produced or consumed.
Your most telling post yet. Good thing we have real Americans who don't fall for that whole Science thing. I mean, who do these people think they are with all of their genome decoding, putting a man on the moon, and ridding the world of diseases? Don't they know we Patriots won't fall for that elitism? Do they think they're going to impress us with their graduate degrees and specialized knowledge? Heck no! Good thing we average Americans know more about storms than those book learnin' climatologists. I'll I need to know I can find in my bible, thank you very much! Amen.
