Global Warming Demonstrators Demonstrate How Cold It Is

Remember when leftists always seemed to make entertaining political theatre? Think Abbie Hoffman showering the floor of the New York Stock Exchange with dollar bills as the traders chased the paper. Environmentalists picked this weekend as the time for demonstrations for state action on global warming. Bad timing. What they demonstrated was that it's not that warm at all, at least in my part of the globe. Throughout the northeast, sleet, snow, and freezing rain pounded the same streets the bundled-up picketers pounded. This was street theatre of the comedic variety, unintentionally so of course. Anecdotal evidence doesn't prove or disprove a theory. Here's hoping environmentalists take this lesson to heart when the mercury hits sixty sometime next December.

Another comedian is John Heinze, uh, Kerry and his nutty wife jumping the bandwagon and hawking another stupid book on Global Warming. And oh, by the way, now that his crack about the troops has been pretty much been eradicated from the minds of the mindless, he's still not discounting a run in 08'. These whacky Dems ARE good for a laugh.

Reading is fundamental.

No serious environmentalists ever says "look- its warm outside! Its GLOBAL WARMING!!!"

On the other hand, Dan has insuinated in several posts that cold weather disproves the science of climate change.

Reading ALL his posts is key.

What silliness. People make similar statements all the time. Half the reason for the current global warming fad is because we had an unusually warm winter this year.

Please provide a quote from Dan suggesting cold weather disproves global warming, and a link to the post you are quoting.

Rethuglican Prince

If you are refering to other post where dan implies that the current cold spell in April implies that global warming is wrong, please quote from that post and not from post where he explicity says that it being colder than normal is purely anecdotal. Otherwise I smell a straw man.

What is the difference between climate and weather? Pretty sure it's the same thing. Ain't it?

Climate is the weather stretched over long periods of time. Standard averaging period for studying climate is 30 years.
