Shamon, Shamon

A two-handed man wearing a single glove. A good-looking black gent transforming himself into an ugly white woman. A non-baseball player compulsively grabbing his crotch in public. Could it be that these weren't cute eccentricities, but signs of something altogether more disturbing?

Jury selection for Michael Jackson's child-molestation trial began on Monday. Over the next six-months, we'll likely find out whether Jackson victimized children or was victimized himself by an elaborate extortion scheme. Whatever the truth, Mr. Jackson would have helped himself in the public relations department by refraining from hosting sleepovers with McCauley Culkin or escorting Emmanuel Lewis to the Grammys. A jury will issue a verdict on the charge of Jackson being a pedophile. I will issue a verdict on Jackson being a weirdo: guilty.

Anyhow, if you were prosecuting this case, and the judge allowed you to submit one Michael Jackson song as proof of the defendant being a sicko, which song would you play for the jury?

Billy Jean. Mother always told him to be careful of who he loved.

I'd nominate "Childhood": "People say I'm not okay/'Cause I love such elementary things/It's been my fate to compensate/for the Childhood
I've never known."

Of course, "Bad" might be the most damning song -- heck, the first line is "Your butt is mine."

BEAT IT!!!

Even if Michael Jackson is found innocent and even if all the allegations against him are false... that guy is just plain strange.

Hmmmm.... either "P.Y.T." (Pretty YOUNG Thing) or "In the Closet"

"Just promise me whatever we say
Or whatever we do to each other
For now we'll make a vow
To just keep it in the closet"

He sure does say "baby" a lot....

NO...I just can't do it. Mike was so cool...it just breaks my heart...

So here's the lyrics to the best Rap ever (certainly Vincent Price's best rap ever, may he RIP) to remind us of when he wasn't a complete and total nutball:

Darkness falls across the land
The midnite hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y’all’s neighbourhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse’s shell
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzy ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller

See the problem with Michael Jackson is, he has a severe infeariority complex. Somehow Michael's genititals developed at such a stature that he is far and away the most under-developed of the Jackson siblings. This humility pushed Michael farther and farther away from his own race, soon he began a procedure to make himself more and more like the other white boys who befriended him the day he opened his doors to his backdoor retreat, that is commonly refered to as Neverland. The real problem was he had no idea how to judge all of the treatment he had been administering to himself, which made it impossible to compare pictures in magazines of the average white mans genitals. It's awful hard for Michael to get a line-up of adults together to compare private parts, so it forced him to begin using children for his comparisons. I vaguely remember seeing an item in the discovery folder, that stated, Michael sometimes staged sleepovers at his home, it was called Growth Chart Weekend where he would bring in several different types of unknowing, naive children and minipulate them into thinking that drinking wine and looking at nude magazines was typical for a 10yr old boy. Michael knows in his head that his behavior is inappropriate so he has taken measures to change his ways. This time he decided it was prehaps wiser to tranform himself into an alien transvestite and become a recluse of sorts. Either way Michael is more than a distraction, he is far more dangerous than that. Anyone who is this out of touch with society, I would have to imagine has had many, many thoughts of suicide. I have just come to realize that I want Michael Jackson in the first round of the death pool! When does that start anyway??

Maury, you are the James Joyce of this board.

Posted by: Homer J. Fong on February 1, 2005 09:35 PM

Maury, a very impressive yet disturbing amount of information. When did you become a Jacksonologist?

Posted by: Feck on February 2, 2005 10:26 AM

What pushed him over the edge was that Ebony and Ivory thing.

Paul McCartney claims another victim of musical collaboration.

Personally, I'd like to see more on Janet and LaToya. Why can't they be as weird as their brother and get more press?

Posted by: asdf on February 2, 2005 11:31 AM

FYI: I think the song was "The Girl is Mine", and is on the Thriller album, one of the most successful albums of all time.

Ebony and Ivory was McCartney and Stevie Wonder.

why thank you Feck! Well, I guess I have always been somewhat fanatical when it comes to trying to figure out whats in the mind of an emotionally disturbed human, actually in Jacksons case, half human and think deep about what the man is accused of and what percent of the alligations I actually believe to be correct. I the Michael Jackson case I firmly believe that the facts lie within the pudding. Could I imagine Jackson doing these things with little boys, yes. Do I believe that some of these strange happenings occured, most definately and I have to say I won't be very surprised if he is found guilty of these happenings. Doesn't everyone find this man facinating? People don't normally acuse everyday celebrities of rape. Well strike that, reverse it. They do often get accused of rape, however it is usually male and females involved, not half man and boys. Jacksonologist! Thanks Feck I think I like that one!
Fong, good job on pickin out the stevie wonder err!

Feck and Maury great job as usual. Yes pedophilia is a strange and disturbing condition. But I want to ask you a very serious question. What is worse, being a pedophile, like Mr. Jackson; or one who goes after elderly people in that way. Like that guy who married Carol Channing. I think the scientific term for someone who is sexually aroused by the elderly is GEEZER PLEASER. Your comments are welcome Mr Feck.

Homer, I'm sorry I thought it was Feck who uncovered the Stevie Wonder blunder but it was you. So I now thank you for my earlier statement, and Oatmeal why are u sayin great job to Feck if he hadn't even posted anything??

Posted by: maury on February 2, 2005 09:59 PM

Oops. Thanks Homer. A music expert I obviously ain't.

Posted by: asdf on February 3, 2005 09:15 AM

Ah yes....the Geezer Pleaser. An excellent point Mr. Oatmeal. There nothing more sinister than a man with unquenchable, and downright dangerous carnal habits towards the elderly.

As for Maury, I believe Gregory offered is approval to me for previous posts and posts yet to appear. I'm sorry if you feel left out or short changed because I was referenced.

Posted by: Feck on February 3, 2005 09:45 AM

Feck, I thought Gregory was thanking you for being such a heck of a fellow - I know I do.

Jackson's creepiest song? Crowded field. "Pretty Young Thing" is a solid contender. "Smooth Criminal" is...odd. 'Annie, are you OK?' Why do you want to know, Mike? And think of the video for "The Way You Make Me Feel."

But this is a guy who dangled a baby over the railing of a hotel balcony - while the baby wore a surgical mask for his protection. (At least in Steve Irwin's case, he didn't see the point, because, y'know, mate - I'm right there, and it's just a croc, mate...)

Posted by: Nightfly on February 3, 2005 01:16 PM

Very strong selections Nightfly, nice work. I am going to say "Leave me Alone" is his sickest song. The lyrics are telling into the inner workings of his feelings towards rejection and his desire to remove or distance himself from society. Plus the guy is an absolute wack job!

Posted by: Feck on February 3, 2005 04:04 PM

maybe michael is a nutjob, but the most sickening thing is how media and public is prosecuting a man for being weird. It's humans right to be weird and whacko, but it's not right to break the law. It sounds to me that the public and most of you presume that just because a guy is a nutjob it is more likely to commit the crimes he is accussed for.
If you ask me this whole trial is a witch hunt. It's easy to blame someone who is in the public eye and has a bad reputation already. The last trial that ended with settlement was never forgotten. That doens't mean he is/isn't guilty. But i'm sick of hearing people talking about how weird he is, maybe he is really mentally ill. Would you go around and talk about a handicapped person, saying how weird he looks or behaves?
Neither of you know michael jackson, you only know about the image that is portrayed of him that means none of you can make a objective profile of who he is and why he behaves like he does.

Regarding Jackson and Stevie Wonder...From what I understand..1st Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder performed the song and then did Michael Jackson with Paul McCartney. I came to this website in hopes of finding the correct answer. However, you are all just as confused as I.
