What Really Cooks at Fahrenheit 911

Don't go to Michael Moore's new movie. It's all a trick. He wants to eat you.

Moore is a very obese, very stupid man. So if even such a man can see the truth behind the Bush aministration, why can't most conservatives?

This is why I love the USA. We are all granted the fundamental right to be wrong. I will reserve judgement on the movie until I actually see it for myself. Of course, I will look at it knowing Mr. Moore's bias.
What I do not like about this movie is attempts to have it banned. Give me a break. The news media skews facts all of the time. The left and right "interpret" data to suit their needs. The left and right try to shout each other down rather than have intellectual debate. The left label the right nazis, the right label the left communists. This is why I prefer C-Span and the internet to see the facts for myself. I read the bills in Congress for myself.
We in the center are becoming disillusioned with the whole political system.

Mr. Moore seems to be the master of revisionist history and current affairs and it has been widely noted that his incredible spin on the facts have worked to make him seem like a 'Rainman' type figure.

I would contend that we focus more on the 'idiot' and less on the 'savant' when it comes to Mr. Moore.

Scary thing is, I have liberal friends that actually believe in this guy to the point where they frequently quote what he says and use his revisionism on specific topics as agruing points to support their theories.

Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

I considered Michael Moore to be alright years ago but now think he's a complete buffoon. His contrived "common man" schtick -- all the way down to his ratty jeans and baseball caps -- is beyond ridiculous. It never fails to amaze me how people sincerely believe that Moore is this selfless crusader who has dedicated his life to slaying the dragon of bad government. The guy is no more than an opportunisitic entertainer who caters to a small niche audience. His only concern is the size of his bank account. Let's be honest: if Michael Moore's target audience suddenly stopped buying his books and paying to see his amateurishly one-sided movies, he wouldn't think twice about jumping fence and bashing liberals.

Michael Moore is a patriot; however, he's not going to register as a patriot to the Jacobins of the right, who think THEY are the patriots - who think, as their progenitor Jacobins thought, that there's nothing lovelier than dropping the guillotine blade onto the noggin of a heretic. Well, it's funny, but...well, do you remember Tom Paine? A guy with that name? Yeah, Revolutionary War, right - HE was a patriot. And if you're looking for his "likeness" here in present-day America, look at Michael Moore. Thomas Jefferson would undoubtedly invite Moore up to Monticello, Hamilton would give him horsey-back rides and Paine would go 4x4ing with him any old time...but you know these things, they're tattooed onto your heart of hearts, the one that beats and KNOWS that what you stand for, chilluns, and what you're doing/isn't playful, though it IS screwing.

The flag = Michael Moore; gulags and death = Bush & Cronies, Inc. Yea unto.
