It's almost as though we didn't have an election. Monday, the Republicans controlled the House of Representatives, the Democrats the Senate, and Barack Obama the presidency. As a result of yesterday's election, the Republicans will control the House of Representatives, the Democrats the Senate, and Barack Obama the presidency. What do they say about people who do the same thing and expect different results?
At least the Repbulicans kept the House. With any luck, we'll get four years of gridlock.
So the Republican Jon Kerry could not defeat an unpopular incumbent. Shocker, but seen that one before . . .
Haha! Eating your words? Or conveniently forgetting your sagacious predictions, like a good conservative. 4 more years of the country improving and you idiots bickering about conspiracies and your insane economic policies.

I was pleased to see that the systemic voter fraud in OH and PA wasn't enough to invalidate the legitimate votes within those states. I do feel a little silly for not trusting the polls, but I'm surrounded by a sea of red and generally consume more conservative than liberal media.
Some great firsts happened tonight, with voters in Maine endorsing civil rights for all and Coloradans and Washingtonians legalizing marijuana. Generally, a decent day for democracy and human rights.
Yes, Haha indeed. Because the joke is on all of us. Nobody will be spared and America will most certainly devolve and become a much poorer and less safe place.
