That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore

Patrick Kennedy has labeled the man who now sits in the senate seat his father held for 47 years a "joke." Does not that designation fit the eight-term Congressman better than it does Scott Brown? Read my piece @ the American Spectator and discover why Rhode Islanders don't find the joke of sending a mentally-ill recovering drug addict to Congress very funny anymore.

There was always talk at the Kennedy compound in the days before "Camelot" that Teddy would get Rhode Island as Pappa Joe believed buying a seat there was easy and as he thought of Teddy as not having the political or mental savvy to "serve" anyplace else. A vote in Congress it a vote in Congress.

Fate presented other opportunities. So it seems natural that the runt who's there has served way too long in the Ocean State and even they are wising up.

What, you don't think an alcoholic, drug-addicted rich boy who brags of never having worked a day in his life does not make a splendid congressman? asdf, you are just not as broad-minded as those voters in RI.

Coming from a person who hails from Kennedy central and who has watched in helpless anguish for many years as our Senior Senator helped to embarrass us and, in the process, ruin our country, my intention is certainly NOT to diagnose Rhode Island voters as unwise.

I'll just be glad to see another haughty, arrogant, do nothing, screw-up get the boot now that it appears that Ocean Staters are in a frame of mind to make a necessary change.
