Barack Obama flanked himself with white-coated doctors in 11th-hour push for his welfare/healthcare bill. The spectacle was just the latest insult to intelligent Americans. Presumably, the message we in the hinterlands are supposed to glean is that all doctors support the president. The message intelligent people received is that any doctors who show up to a press event wearing their workplace attire are willing tools of propaganda. There are actually sixteen doctors with an intimate knowledge of the various health-care plans. They are members of Congress. None of the sixteen wears a white coat to his job in the Capitol. Almost all of them are voting against the president's welfare/healthcare bill.

Bribery, smoke, mirrors, obfuscation, lies - it's all there.

He will do ANYTHING to push this through because this closet Marxist knows that it's one of the most important steps forward in getting complete control.

And he doesn't much care about those who disagree.

I agree. This is about gaining complete control and has absolutely nothing to do with actually reforming health care. If he and his allies were serious about reforming health care, they would do the following: 1.)introduce tort reform, 2.)allow insurance companies to complete accross state lines, and 3.)allow people to purchase cheaper generics from places like Canada and Mexico.

As I understan it, they are going to "study" tort reform. Any serious effort at reforming health care would begin with the above three provisions. Given that none of this is seriously being considered, this indicates the folks pushing health care reform are not serious about actually improving the situation.

I just love how this administration presents their photo-ops. The only thing that was missing were the stethoscopes hanging around their necks to add even more credibility to this stage production.

For all we know the white-coated props posing behind the President could have been meat cutters from the SEIU.

I, like Roger.45, wonder if those were really MDs in thoss lab coats. These "photo ops" are professionally staged and scripted.
