Worst Bill Ever

House Democrats passed a health reform bill that would put the government in the strange position of being in competition with the very health insurers it regulates. In the bizarro world of statists, fairness is the referee getting to play the game (so long as they get to referee). The bill is an abomination on so many fronts: the public didn't get a chance to read it before the vote, it raises taxes on the wealth producers in the midst of a recession, it increases the already enormous national debt, it further bureaucratizes medical care, and it fascistically props up the health-insurance industry by criminalizing the free man's decision not to be a customer. One could go on. The critic of this bill feels like the proverbial mosquito in the nudist colony: Where to begin?

Just hours before passing this socialist bill the House passed another bill which honored the day Soviet socialism collapsed. HR 892. ... The irony!

Don't they still have to get this through the Senate for it to be enacted. If someone actually wanted to improve the economic situatuion, this seems to be an incredibly stupid bill. Perhaps someone has another agenda.

This bill is not about healthcare, it’s about government control of our lives, deaths and money.

If it were to pass the Senate and get signed into law, it will start immediately to degrade the economy and will degrade our quality of life and death starting in 2013 when the full takeover is scheduled to happen.

I was talking to a woman this morning who said to me that at least she could keep her private insurance if it passes. Au contraire, as I explained to her the mechanisms under the bill which will penalize private businesses who don’t choose the public option that will lead eventually to a rationed government healthcare single payer system.

This is what O and the leftist socialists in Congress have been working on for some time now and most people are unaware that The Abortionist in Chief has been a staunch advocate of a single payer, government funded everything including abortion system from the beginning.

If this abomination passes into law, we be in trouble folks.

Whether or in what form this bill passes will hinge on one factor: will those in control be able to profit from it? The answer is yes, which is why Kucinich voted no. This is a great bill for for-profit insurers, which is why their stocks are soaring, and a terrible bill for individuals who are being forced to subsidize those same insurers.

"mosquito in the nudist colony;" Dinesh D'Souza's favorite line. He was on Art Bell the other night talking about his new book.

This is a terrible bill. Thank God the Cowboys are in first place in the NFC East.

At almost 2,000 pages, I'm sure there is a paragraph in there assuring that the Cowboys are to be in first place in the NFC East at this time too.

Does anybody else worry about what's going on in our country when Four Star loser Chief of Staff of the Army Casey says that diversity trumps dead soldiers?

Just wondering.
