"There was a time between Nov. 4 and mid-February when I was the only full-time member of the auto task force," Brian Deese, a 31-year-old Obama aide, told the New York Times. "It was a little scary." No, it is a lot scary. Meet Brian Deese, "a not-quite graduate of Yale Law School who had never set foot in an automotive assembly plant until he took on his nearly unseen role in remaking the American automotive industry." Don't fret. General Motors may have declared bankruptcy today, but a Yale Law School dropout with experience neither in government nor the automotive industry is in the driver's seat. He may have done the CliffsNotes study of car making, but the New York Times assures us he "speed-walks" between meetings.
You could argue that most of Obama’s appointments are inexperienced kids. You have his top money guy little Timmy Geithner going to China to ‘splain to them that their investment in the U.S. is safe. Really. No kidding. Honest Injun’. Cross my heart, hope to die. But those Chinese are smart and serious people so they ask for him to show them the math and prove to them how their investment is a good one and safe when littly Timmay's boss is planning on spending $12 trillion in the next few years and has no idea how it will get paid for. Unless you consider that mo' money will be printed money which will devalue their investment.
Hummana, hummana, hummana….. Must have learned that at Dartmouth.
Does it bother anybody else that not only are our political elites selling our country lock, stock and barrel to the PRC and any other takers who will buy our bad debt but that they need to road trip to go over there and beg them to own more of our country?
At least somebody is getting it……
