Marketing gurus warn against launching a product in August, when families are on vacation and nobody is paying attention. This makes you wonder about the timing of the president's bill to nationalize part of the health insurance industry. Atop its byzantine length, the used-car-salesman tact to close the sell as fast as possible, and the attempt to sequester congressmen from their constituents before holding the vote, the plan to hold the vote on the bill during the dog days of August seems part of an the overall strategy of keeping citizens in the dark about legislation that, if passed, will have an enormous impact upon their lives.
Now that the Congessional Budget Office has indicated that the government health plan can co-exist with private insurers we may see progress on a house floor vote. The party of "No" is virtually inconsequential by their own design.
Our current President is a front man. Plain and simple. He's already admitted he knows little about the legislation he's pushing but is acting as the shallow disingenuous super salesman his handlers and his party expected him to be.
Nobody plays dirty the way the Dems do. They have it down to a fine art. So obfuscation and diversion is their specialty and foisting this nation killing boondoggle of a plan on a mostly ignorant population who may not be paying attention is right in line with the agenda.
After crunching the numbers, the CBO has not given one iota of encouragement regarding this government health care boondoggle except to say it will be a disaster. So the spin that national HC will co-exist with private HC care is a fallacy advertised by the government salespeople who know that the legislation is specific to say that private systems will go away. In effect, with a national system in place, many employers will fail to offer a third party system anyway. Less overhead you know. But Americans will need to go to Mexico for good medical care.
Anyway, for their troubles, Obama has called the head of the CBO to the White House woodshed to jack him up. A firing was discussed. Another unprecedented move by a President who still believes he was crowned and not elected.
"Party of 'no" ?!?!
We can wish though, can't we? For history tells otherwise: the GOP is the party of "not quite yet" or "yes, but not quite so far."
Or, as Professor Gates would say: the Party of "YO....Mamma!".
Brilliant Thomas Sowell today....

Good evening. There is a great deal of difference between an eager man who wants to read a book and the tired man who wants a book to read. Help me! Need information about: Lsu computer wrist mouse pad. I found only this - fellowes mouse pads. The viper is flown from the seated position. They do a few things together, mostly parties but they are separated most of the time. Thank you very much :-(. Oma from Great.
