The Pew Research Center found that Republicans are happier than Democrats. Should this surprise anyone? Most of the people insisting that we need to change the world don't have "R"s next to their names, do they? This demand to change the world, of course, reflects an unhappiness with one's individual life. Better for them, and for us, if they changed themselves instead of the world.
Most liberals who I know are pi$$ed off people. Deep down, maybe they're not really, but they seem by all outward appearances to be very unhappy people.
My thoughts on this are the obvious: they really, really, really want the world to fit into their utopian mold of how they view it should be. And as it never will be, it causes great angst and turmoil for their limited, fact starved intellects.
Meanwhile, I'm singing 'Zippity-do-dah' as I write. ;-)

Watch out for more economy crunching 'California style' energy restrictions coming from Washington today. And we all know what great condition California is in.
During the campaign, Obama said he wouldn't mind seeing $5.00 per gallon gas. Well, even though the barrel is reasonable enough to insure tolerable gas prices, Obama and his loony Dem cabal are going to make sure that prices go up artificially to sooth their guilt that America has been too successful for too long and in the process that private business viability stays stagnant, unemployment remains high and that we will never, ever, ever develop our own domestic energy sources.
Meanwhile, the adults in China, Russia and India are doing everything they can to fuel the growth of their economies.
As long as this crew of children is in power, we are doomed.
Somehow though, it has to be Bush’s fault.
See, the Chinese get it. And will be more than happy to watch as this country struggles and dies, meanwhile laughing all the way to wealth, prosperity and power.
