A cinematic tribute to Ted Kennedy is planned for tonight's Democratic National Convention. Ted Kennedy, suffering from brain cancer, reportedly wants to appear in Denver. How much do you want to bet that getting kicked out of Harvard for cheating, Chappaquidick, and the incident on the floor of La Brasserie restaurant doesn't make the highlight reel?
A little mayo with that sandwich Senators?
Apparently, Michelle My Bell Obama is railing against Fat Teddy essentially forcing his way onto the convention floor. Maybe she knows that outside of loony lefty Massachusetts, he is not that well received by fellow Democrats.
The Sun is setting for the Liberal Lion and it couldn’t have happened to a more caustic guy who has done more than his fair share of political damage and obstructionism.
Maybe there’s some kind of cosmic payback as TMK will never see his life’s work issue of Universal Health Care enacted. Unfortunately, there are plenty of Kennedy clones in the Democratic Party who will be more than happy to carry on.
And actual Kennedy's for that matter. Why do so many of your fellow New Englander's continue to support that bunch?
You got me AM. I always thought it was the older generation who remembered the "Camelot" days and associated Teddy as such. But they (like TMK) are dropping off the planet so my suspicion is that there are enough gray pony tailed leftist trust funders and uninformed dopes who vote Democrat because their families have always voted Democrat to keep guys like Kennedy around. Essentially, the same groups that voted to install our current Governor and who allow for an entrenched legislative class to prosper and to act autonomously.
Why doesn't Kennedy ever mention, his carrying the water for communist individuals.
Kennedy, isn't the sharpestknife in the kitchen,he is actually much closer to a soup spoon.
He cut off all USA aid, in southeast Asia, knowing the dire consequences, enabled the communist to kill a few million people and didn't care a whit.
Then during the 1980's he arranged a meeting with KGB agents, asking for their help in defeating Reagan.
Also during the 1980's, Teddy served his role as the "useful idiot" doing everything, including lying, to prevent the USA from assisting El Salavdor.
Thhen he once again proved to be the "useful idiot" for communism when he did everything he could possible do, including lying about the Contra's as well as pulling out all the stops to prevent the USA from assisting the Contra's in overthrowing the inhumane Marxist party lead by Daniel Ortega.
Kennedy is a proven enabler to a group of Marxist who imprisoned the innonecent, as well as killed several million people.
Then "soup spoon" Kennedy has the nerve to claim that the Shah was a worse violator of human rights than the USSR,the east block countries, and in Cuba.
I guess, as long as his hero's are the ones doing the killing, then he can easily justify it in that empty head of his. That, or he actually was and still is one of the morons, who believed only Marxism and socialism can make ones life better.
Kennedy has much to answer for during all his despicable,anti-American, actions he has taken over the course of his shameful political career.
It also shows hypocrisy in the most vile manner, when he rudely grills Supreme court nominees, by stating he has a CONSCIENCE! Did Ted not have a conscience before he let Mary Jo drown, while he did the cowardly thing, saved himself, then spent hours not reporting it, all to forulate a plan to save his political career.
Bork,Scalia,Thomas,Roberts, and Alito publicly exposed his intellectual lighweight status.
If he or Biden think they have 1/2 the IQ that those judges I mentioned above, then they obviously reside in an alternative world.
Why is Kennedy on the education committe? He,his siblings, nephews, nieces, and own children
attended elite private schools. Tedddy is like most other leftist democrats when they claim to be the party for education, when in truth, they are nothing more than lackeys for the teachers unions.
Kennedy's picture is beside the word "despicable" in Websters.
