Who's your audience? With Ted Kennedy, Dennis Kucinich, and Nancy Pelosi all featured at the dais at the Democratic National Convention, the Democrats saw their audience as the hyper-partisans in the hall. Kicking out George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, John McCain recognizes the hyper-partisans in the hall as props and knows his audience as the millions watching at home. In jettisoning an unpopular president and an even less popular vice president, and selecting a running mate with a history of taking on the Republican Party establishment, McCain is adeptly letting America know that his would be the first term of a McCain-Palin administration, not a third term for Bush-Cheney.
What's amazing to me is that you may see the following as the most popular search on Google:
Vice +President +nude
Too funny.
No matter how much the Obama people trot out that worn out old bromide coined from the campaign of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, the reality is that the Palin pick truly does represent 'Change'.
Take the top two guys and the secondary guy on both tickets. All part of the Senate boys club and experienced only in varying degrees based on time in. Palin is not the same old type of Washington flack that gets staged every fours years and it’s driving the lefties crazy because they 'believed' this election was a slam dunk for the Messiah.
By the by, I thought that 'Pro Choice' meant free to choose? Either way? Silly me. Listening to and reading what the lefty media has to say about it, 'Choice' doesn't apply to the free will required to make a decision. To them, 'Choice' means that abortion is the only option.
Heaven forbid the 'Choice' might be to keep a child and not abort it.
It has been interesting to see the topic of conversation recently being about two political neophytes and not the stodgy old entrenched others on the ticket.
Even more so as one of the newbies is at the top of the ticket and the other at the bottom.
The Obama campaign and their media lapdogs are biting big time. They are somehow forgetting that the Messiah is running against McCain and not Palin (or....is he??). Meanwhile, McCain has time to backdoor the Obama campaign.
It's a beautiful thing.
The most important thing that will come out of this and likely backfire on the Obots and the media is that Obama has never had a legitimate opponent in an election and has cruised through his political career. Palin has taken on the meat of Alaskan politics and power base and won office against all odds.
Regardless of what McCain is letting America know, this will in fact be a 3rd Bush term. Ex-Bush people and neocons are all around.
Obi: Whatevaaugh!. Better a third, so called, Bush term than taking a chance with a Marxist who will destroy this country for the next four years. It's unfortunate, but Ronald Reagan is not walking through that door.
For a wise Jedi, you sometimes don't act very wise.
