Mysteries of the Blagojevich Scandal

After reading the indictment of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, I am left with more questions than answers. These lingering mysteries fuel the media buzz, and ensure that America is in for a scandal that keeps on giving. Drip. Drip. Drip. The information will flow until the public is satiated.

1. What did Obama know and when did he know it? It seems to stretch the limits of credulity to believe the president had no discussions, or his team had no discussions, with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich about the fate of the senate seat Obama vacated last month. Did Obama meet with Blagojevich, as David Axelrod claimed and a Chicago television station reported, or didn't he, as Obama and Axelrod now claim.

2. If it is a crime for the governor of Illinois to sell a senate seat, isn't it a crime for Senate Candidate 5, or his emissaries, to offer cash for the seat? Senate Candidate 5, as we know now, is Jesse Jackson, Jr. Who represented him in meetings with the Blagojevich? Either that person represented Jackson's interests, and Jackson should go down, or he was freelancing, and he should go down. It's possible that there just isn't enough evidence to take either down, as it may be just Blagojevich on tape putting words into other people's mouths. But if Senate Candidate 5, or one of his emissaries, is on tape seeking to buy a senate seat, then they should go down too.

3. Who is Advisor B? This is important because he seems to represent the president's interests in meetings, telephonic and otherwise, with team Blagojevich. He expresses approval for a corrupt plan that would deliver the senate seat to an Obama favorite, Valerie Jarrett, in exchange for a high-paying, made-up union job for Blagojevich. Many are speculating that Advisor B is none other than the man who suceeded Rod Blagojevich in Congress, Rahm Emanuel. If so, the scandal may extend its tentacles into the White House, or at least the Office of President-Elect.

This thing was shut down as soon as The One’s transition team got into the Justice Department and caught wind of the investigation and where it was going. So we’ll never know if there was any connection.

But the reality is that you can’t touch the Messiah. He is clean and pure and would not have associated with such questionable people anyway. He is so great and good, he didn’t have to swim to navigate through the sewage filled waters of Illinois/Chicago politics. He just walked on them on his way to the political promised land without getting dirty.

He stayed completely away from the likes of Blago, Rezko, Ayers, Dohrn, Jones, Farrakhan, Phleger and didn’t listen to a word that his sounding board and mentor J. Wright had to say for a 20 year period so as not to be tainted with rage filled bile. These were only some people he had heard of and had known about.

Jay Leno was joking last night that Blagojevich might as well put up an auction on eBay to sell Obama's Senate seat.

I'm sure we are all shocked, SHOCKED!, that Obama's pal Rev. Wright is back in T.U.C.C. pulpit and fold. Because, of course, this is part of the change we can believe in.

And he still knows his revisionist history:

Wright (Wrong) - "Today. Is December 7. The day that this government killed. Over 80000. Japanese civilians. At Hiroshima in 1941. Two days before giving an additional. 64000. Japanese civilians. At Nagasaki by dropping nuclear bombs on innocent. People."

Dumb $hite.

Hey, dudes! I am Advisor B! Whassup? I represent Barack's interests, not by telephonic means, but telepathic! Also, the scandal does not have tentacles, but I do. I'm an octopus! Whoa! Who knew? Later, dudes!

What a joke Obama already is. But it doesn't matter. The fix was and is in. He has a sheild in the MSM. What would easily drive a republican into the abyss of accusation and suspicion is water off the back of this clown. This man is about as qualified to be President as I am of being head of the Harvard Law Review. This nation and its electorate are increasingly becoming a sad joke. Who can win in this environment? Only the scheming far leftists who have NO moral constraints upon them.
