Are You Ready for Some Football? Week Eight

Will someone volunteer to figure out the winner of the AYRFSF pool? I have become too busy to do it every week. DocMcG won week six, but I am still ignorant of who won week seven. On to week eight--home teams are in caps. All picks are against the spread. Here are my selections: RAVENS -7 over Raiders, Chargers -3 over Saints (@ London), Chiefs +13 over JETS, DOLPHINS +1.5 over Bills, COWBOYS -2.5 over Bucs, EAGLES -9 over Falcons, PATRIOTS -7 over Rams, Cards +4.5 over PANTHERS, Redskins -7.5 over LIONS, Browns +7 over JAGUARS, Giants +3 over STEELERS, NINERS -5 over Seahawks, TEXANS -9.5 over Bengals, and, on Monday Night Football, Colts +4 over TITANS. Make your selections in the comments section.

Come on Dan. Drop writing the columns, books and doing the radio gigs and lecture circuit and get back to what's important here.

Congratulations to ADB and tfm. by my calculations they tied with identical 8-6 records.

I have to admit that last week I was foolish-- choosing every away team. So this week I'm going to mix 3 home teams into my picks.

RAVENS,
Saints,
Chiefs,
Bills,
Bucs,
Falcons,
Rams,
Cards,
Redskins,
Browns,
STEELERS,
Seahawks,
Bengals,
TITANS.

Ralph, your Horns look pretty darn good. Howevagh, two tries at the one to seal the deal and NG? They have to work on that.

A few years ago I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7G7loR2VVw

It made me an Alabama fan. This year they're going all the way.

If any participant would determine the winner for this week after Monday's game and post findings here, it would be appreciated. I could then celebrate the winner in the main post, which is customary and right.

Wow, I got the impression that that guy really hates Tennessee. Call me crazy (I am).

Must be a Bama Rhodes Scholar.

By my count Dan the man wins with 10-3-1. Congrats.
