Guns Don't Kill People, Gun Shop Owners Do

Former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr is suing New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg for $400 million. Good. The suit responds to Bloomberg's own lawsuit against fifteen gun shops, including one in Georgia, that sold firearms later used in crimes. Bloomberg's office calls Barr's suit a "public relations stunt." They would know.

Did Bloomberg file a lawsuit against the companies who built the planes involved in the September 11th attacks? How about automobile manufacturers whose cars are involved in car accidents? And beer companies whose beer was in the bellies of those who crashed the cars?

Well, we might as well sue Ford dealers because someone got drunk, go behind the wheel of an F150, and killed someone. Better yet, let's sue Ford!

Have owned guns for years, and I haven't killed anybody.....YET! But if I do, I'm glad to know that it won't be my fault.
