National Review editorializes: "With the resignation of Rep. Tom DeLay after his two decades in the House, Congress will be losing its most effective conservative." If "Leviathan's Hammer" is truly Congress's "most effective conservative," then the conservative movement is in greater trouble than anyone had imagined.
Yeah, he's 'The Hammer' alright. Suppose if he wasn't 'The Hammer', the budget probably would have balooned to an additional half trillion more. One good thing about him moving on might be what he's going to say on his way out. He's accurately called Rep. McKinney a racist and it's about time somebody said something truthful about that fiasco.
Wow! He may not have acted 'The Hammer' part with regard to the budget, but he's certainly acting the part on Rush as he's hammering McKinney. Calling her racist, anti-semetic, saying that she blames everything wrong with here life on white people. Yeeah baby! Go get em' Tom! Not used to this kind of honesty from a career pol.
