Count Me Red, White, and Blue

Weirdo liberals have made a bracelet telling foreigners, "I'm not one of them!" The blue bracelet says--what else?--"count me blue." The idea came to Bern Rothschild upon visiting snotty liberal friends in England. She explained, "I sort of felt ashamed, and didn't really want to be associated with being an American." Well that's a coincidence. I don't know you, Bern, but I've been asked by every American (save for some people who objected in Northhampton, Massachusetts, Yellow Springs, Ohio, Athens, Georgia, and Arcata, California) to tell you that we really don't want to be associated with you either. Get out.

If you're a liberal and sick of the "love it, or leave it" mindset, then make things easier on yourself by ceasing to make your love of country contingent upon your country voting Democrat. "I sort of felt ashamed, and didn't really want to be associated with being an American." Yeah, that about sums up why I wrote a book called Why the Left Hates America. Bern, I'm glad, for your sake, that you are an American. Had you been born in any number of countries outside of the West and said something similar about your homeland, the bracelets you'd be wearing would be a shiny metallic rather than a baby blue.

Can't say I blame her much. As a Republican and a conservative I hate being associated with Bush. I doubt she 'hates America', just the guy in the office.

you failed to mention her proceeds are going to charity.

oh, and you forgot to mention the guy, her father, who has created the "RED BAND" in opposition to his daughter's attempt at coming to terms with her loss.

why do righty's only tell one side of the story?

Neither of the things you mention, wanderer, affect the point: lefties hate america.

He also failed to mention many other insigificant details of the lady's life. Leftism is antiamerican, and she is a case in point. Her giving some of the proceeds to charity doesn't change that.

Hey wait a minute!! I thought the red bands were for Red Sox Nation?? All these bands are stupid and I know people who wear them in many different colors and they have absolutely zero clue that they stand for anything, other than being colored rubber braclets. Welcome to freakshow American ladies and gents!!!

She makes it plain she is ashamed to be associated with being an American. This certainly sounds like she hates being an American. These people are more dangerous to us than any terrorist.

Liberals hate America plain and simple. They are communists. Case in point: They wanted to send Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba They dont want to defend our country. Case in point: Hippies dont like the Military. They have infected our schools with their history twisting rhetoric. Case in Point: The Civil War wasnt fought over Slavery, They are trying to Omit God from the Pledge of Allegiance. They believe in PETA and Animal Rights, but they are pro-abortion. That one baffles me. Save the Salamanders, but kill off living fetuses.

Maybe someday the world will learn that ranting about pointless nonsense doesn't change anything. Stop hating liberals and start working with them. This might be a scary thought but you really agree with them on just about everything that matters. It's time for our spoiled, idiotic nation to stop beating itself up with unfounded, untrue, illogical, hatred for fellow humans of all politcal ideologies that live in and love (not hate) the same country.
