Pro-Abortion Groups Scared of Democracy

Floridians are attempting to place a ballot initiative before voters that would require parents of minors seeking abortions to be informed. If minors can't see Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle without an adult's permission, why should they be allowed to partake in an act so life-changing and serious without the consent of their parents? The ACLU and Planned Parenthood not only oppose this common-sense measure, but they're suing to prevent the citizens of Florida from voting on it. Ostensibly, they object to the measure's language. In reality, they object to the measure itself. If passed, the initiative would amend Florida's constitution in a way that would hinder the aims of the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. So, before they lose at the ballot box, the groups are claiming that the ballot question is unconstitutional. This is what it has come to: liberals now claim that amending a constitution is unconstitutional. That's rigging the system, isn't it?

So now "the people" are too stupid to vote?

It IS the south, maybe they should bring back some form of the literacy test. Only instead of literacy, they would gauge the voters' "sensitivity", or level of political correctness.

Here's one to get you started:

If a longtime friend suddenly informs you that he is a homosexual, you should:

a) Tell him God hates fags and he'll burn in hell
b) Ask him if he's going to start wearing a dress like the rest of the queers
c) Praise his decision to finally stand up to the prevailing conservative culture and accept his sexual identity with pride.

If you answered A or B, please stop and ask your election coordinator for further assistance.

With a label like that, I would expect this kind of post.

d) Ask him if he's ever thought about me while in bed and the depending on the answer put him down (and not on his knees).

Hey parents, after your minor daughter has had an abortion without telling you, you can show how proud you are by suprising her with an "I had an abortion" t-shirt.

Doesn't New Hampshire have a parental consent abortion law? Or was it struck down.

How about abortion clinics awarding "Customer of the Week" awards? Nothing better than following your girlfriend to the clinic after you forgot to put on a raincoat to show your support for her decision.
"Hey baby is that you on the wall???"
