Not Your Father's Democratic Party

If the Republicans are the party of the rich, why did the nation's three wealthiest counties vote for John Kerry in the 2004 election? Curious, I examined the vote totals of the ten richest counties in the United States. While George Bush won a majority of votes in America, John Kerry won a majority of these super-rich counties.

Perhaps this helps explain the party's recent failures. Instead of surrounding himself with auto workers, John Kerry opted to cavort with Ben Affleck. Instead of listening to the concerns of Middle America, Democrats opened their ears to George Soros. Instead of embracing mainstream values, the Democrats championed the morality of Rosie O'Donnell.

The Democrats are the party for people who don't work. At one extreme, the Democrats enjoy the support of people sponging off the government for section eight, food stamps, and a welfare check. At the other end of the spectrum, the Democrats enjoy the support of playboys and socialites living off trust-funds and investment dividends. This is not your father's Democratic Party.

In my ultra liberal area--Vermont, I live in Bennington. The richest part of town (the lod section) had John Kerry signs plastered all over. Ethan Allen who lived there for a few years and many other Revolutionary soldiers who built the houses are probably turned over in their graves in embarrassment.

You know what else about those Dems. I was going to vote for Nader but of course he wasn't on the ballot in California! Peltier was but oh not Nader. I guess the Dems feel that its more just to elimate Nader through the courts than prevent a convicted murderer to reach the ballot. Imagine what the Dems could of done with all of that money they spent trying to bury Nader in cement. After all, the Dems were supposed to believe in using money to help the hungry, the sick, the over-worked employee. Just shows you the true colors of the Democrats or Democrypts.

This is it! Simple and to the EXACT point! I'd like to see this info in ALL the media. SO many out there JUST DON'T GET IT! They keep trying to make all kinds of other excuses. They keep calling these kinds of thoughts as 'extreme religious'. They also keep talking about how the President now has to 'reach out' to all those who didn't vote for him and move the Republican Party more toward their way of thinking. I HOPE NOT! Why wouldn't it be the other way around...the sway should be toward the ideals that won!
I was raised by good, honest, hardworking Democrats!....but I had to switch to keep my personal values. America is on it's way BACK! :)

Some of the biggest Kerry backers I know are shiftless and utterly unnable to hold down a job for any length of time. And they have the nerve to blame George Bush for the fact they're so broke! Look in the mirror, guys!

I would love to see the tax returns for all these people in the 10 counties that went for Kerry. Think many are paying over 15%??
Perfect example of NIMBY limousine liberals.
Now the blue state are talking secession. I wonder how the red counties, which were the majority in most of the blues states, feel about that? Many of the blue states were won with very thin margins.
