If Not a Kerry Win, Columnist Hopes for Assassin's Bullet

Someone named Charlie Brooker writes in The Guardian that the president of the United States is "a lying, sniggering, drink-driving, selfish, reckless, ignorant, dangerous, backward, drooling, twitching, blinking, mouse-faced little cheat." There's something about George W. Bush that short circuits the mental wiring of otherwise intelligent people.

The columnist pleads for Kerry over Bush, but laments that the American people don't seem to agree. This base scribe concludes: "John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr--where are you now that we need you?" That, in a nutshell, is the loony Left's view of democracy.

1) George Will has said the same thing about presidential debates. His most recent comment about the most recent debates was that "presidential debates are to debates what processed cheese is to cheese."

2) Yes, Europe & the World & the Mideast & Iraq hate our president.

3) I don't feel comfortable giving a witty reply on this forum with that topic.

I think that Kerry is a heck of a lot weirder that Bush, or you for that matter -- le poseur, Monsieur Gadfly.

The British are coming!
Do you have any more issues to deflect attention away from the horrible performance of our current unelected president?
Do you wanna talk about other nonpertinent issues while American lives are wasted in Iraq (over a pointless and nonwinnable war?)
I have several fellow citizens in my town who you could recruit-they lost their various jobs because of this administration's mishandling of the economy.

I'm not surprised. I've read several British papers and "The Guardian" is as far to the left as it gets. "The Guardian" also has called Michael Moore a "prophet," so go figure...

Who gives a fat rat's a$$ what Europe thinks? They can barely manage themselves.
