Four More Years...Of Suffering Liberals

Liberals awoke to a four-year hangover this morning. Aspirin, sleep, water, a cold shower, jogging, coffee--nothing will make it go away. So, whose hangover is the worst? I've come up with a list of ten candidates inevitably suffering from cotton mouth, a spinning room, dry vomiting, and other ailments brought on by the president's reelection. Plaintively gasping "Make the pain go away" right now are: Janeane Garofalo, Michael Moore, George Soros, Jacques Chirac, Ted Rall, Bill Maher, Katie Couric, Lawrence O'Donnell, Ron Reagan, and Dan Rather.

Who's missing? I need your help compiling the ultimate liberals-who-are-in-a-lot-of-pain-right-now list. Tell me in the comments section who's really, really hurting because of Bush's reelection and, if you feel like it, explain why.

I found on another blog a link to the NARAL abortion activist blog which was painful to read:

http://bushvchoice.blogs.com/bvc/2004/11/dont_give_up_no.html#comments

My heart aches for these women who are so deluded both about abortion and our values.

Like The Daily Mirror on Drudge, they cannot understand how so many or anyone could vote for Bush. They are upset because they fear that Bush will get Roe vs. Wade overturned and make abortion a democratically determined issue. I hope they are right!

Chris Mathews must be added to your list, Dan. I watched a rerun of the election night panel moderated by Chris. With Bush clearly in control, all Chris could say was, "The White House can't be feeling very good about this." He was referring to the divide between red and blue states.
At that moment, I'm sure the White House was feeling good about everything, even the stale coffee!

I'm not feeling very good at all.

C'mon, Dan! The people you mentioned make their livings bitching and moaning about George W. Bush. If Kerry were elected, these people would no longer have jobs!

The guy from Peter's Solutions.

How about Paul Bagala. He gave President Bush all F's on his campaign report card. He has always gone out of his way to critize his Presidency. This weasel will be crying himself to sleep for the next 48 months. Now that is a beautiful thing. The residents of Damon Park have spoken.

I for one am excited about W's victory! And believe in and practice in No Child Left Behind daily.

You know,

I am sick of all this "red state blue state" talk and claims that the country is "so divided." I think this is the liberals and their media fellow travelers way of being really sore losers and ignoring the reality . . . namely, that the country is a majority Republican, conservative leaning country.

Did these people complain about how divided the country was when we had split government, that is when the Congress belonged to one party and the Presidency to the other? It would have made more sense to say that the country was divided back then. But the GOP has had majority control in Congress for ten years and will have the presidency for 8 straight years. I don't call that division, I call that a clear Republican moajority.

If the country is "divided" at all it is in the mundane sense that we have only two major big-tent parties which each do have a basic support of a large portion of the populace. However, since it is clear that conservatives and Republicans generally are the majority calling us divided makes no sense.

You left off all the old school Hollywood liberals who are devastated right now. There is really too many to list. I wonder what the median income is of all these liberals we could list?

You all missed the biggest one of all: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN.

Western Europe. One of the many great things about this election is that we get to display our superiority to Europe in yet another way: we are independent (in the sense of beyond, above, etc.) of French/German/Brittish/Spanish public opinion of us. Who cares what your whining is about. We are America, you are someone else. Do as we say or we'll let the muslims have you!

I also think Bush's dominant victory sends a powerful message to the Islamist fanatics: our will is stronger than yours. Beware!

I bet Sandy Burgalar is wondering why he stole those documents from the National Archives about now.

Good one came out this morning from that talentless wannabe Moby. He thinks the Blue states should secede as he feels the only intelligent life left resides in them.

He's another elitest Dem who doesn't get it.

I admit. I used to really like Bon Jovi. Their last couple albums I thought were very positive, hopeful. Conservative. And then they came out with an album called "This Left Feels Right". Got my attention right away, but I brushed it off. The music wasn't bad. Then I see them rallying/performing for Kerry at the DNC party.

So now I don't like them as much. Their music is great, but as people they've lost me.

So I bet Bon Jovi can't "Keep the Faith" at the moment.

Oh yeah... eL. Dicrappio who I never liked, I now like even less. He's probably just as sunk as the Titanic.

What about his fellow traitor Jane Fonda?

I'll name two liberals who are very disappointed. Ed Markey & Stephen Lynch. Their personal aspirations have been put on hold for a while.

I'm sure that manatee Rosie O'Donnell is currently involved in a depression eating binge. Gorging herself with Funny Bones, Cream Horns and pre-packaged Hillshire Farm meat products.

Surprised nobody's mentioned John Kerry yet.

Let's not forget Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. She called for the president's assassination.

David Cross really is not very funny in person. And his actual stand-up consists largely in liberal rants that are only funny if you agree with his politics, that is, he doesn't actually make jokes but just says stuff like "Bush is the worst president ever!" to which people hoot and holler.

He is a real dissapointment since Mr. Show was actually pretty funny (and since he is from Atlanta as I am).

Woopi F-ing Goldberg and Barbara Strisand. I would pay big bucks to see their reaction to the Bush victory!

DB. I would have liked to have seen DB's reaction.
