Today is the Monday after the second Wednesday in December in a year divisible by four, which means it's time for each state's delegation to the Electoral College to meet.
Some people want to undermine the Constitution and prevent this from happening--at least in Ohio. Protestors gathered outside Ohio's statehouse on Sunday to object to the state's delegation casting its ballots in the Electoral College.
Despite President Bush winning the state by more than 100,000 votes, activists (including a group called We Do Not Concede that contends John Kerry actually won the election) hold that the votes haven't been counted to their satisfaction. And unless someone can find a way to make 119,000 votes disappear, the Ohio votes will never be counted to their satisfaction. Ohio is not Florida; 2004 is not 2000.
Lets get the Electoral process done. Put this to rest and make President Bush the official winner. I have no doubt that we will have to listen to these morons whine about the election being stolen. GWB could have won with 80% and they would still say it was stolen. Amazing how all the knuckle dragging neanderthals managed to outsmart these guys...again.
What do you expect from the middle too far-left nut cases? They are a party full of negativity and hate for America. If there is no gloom in doom and they could find something to protest against or something needs to be fixed, than they would not have a political party. If ever they are able to say anything works right in America, the Democratic Party would dissolve overnight. So, today they protest over the votes in Ohio and how the President stole the election. Tomorrow and for the next 4 years, they will continue to complain about votes in Ohio and how the President stole the election. The Democrats did the same in Florida. The President won in 2000 by 500 votes or so, and this time he won by almost 400,000 vote. Nobody likes sore losers, and the middle too far-left of the Democratic Party are sore losers. Let them keep protesting! Hope they keep protesting. And we will see where it takes them.
