Bush and Kerry Neck and Neck

George W. Bush is polling at the lowest approval ratings of his presidency. Still, the race for the White House is neck and neck. What does this tell us about John Kerry and the Democratic Party?

I think it is AMAZING that Kerry is not way ahead in the polls right now- considering Bush expanded the size of government, amnesty for illegals, and a war that many conservatives dislike, it's remarkable how much support he has even with his own party. It's only a few movement conservatives in DC that uncomfortable with Bush, but the party base throughout is surprisingly supportive I think.

I have to agree with you. Even as a staunch Republican and GOP supporter, I will freely admit that Bush is not a candidate that excites me.

His job performance has been marginal and his policies have been misguided and weak.

However, I still think that he has the convictions of his beliefs to hold true to what he says and does. In this world of duplicitous politicians, I'm sorry to say, he is the best we've got.

I will hold my nose, take a spoonful of caster oil and submit my vote for him in November.

That means that I would never, NEVER even think that that liberal layabout from my own state is anywhere near up to the job.

He's an opportunistic child who needs to be seen for the sake of being seen.

Scary.
