Hell Hath No Fury Like a Kennedy Scorned

Governor David Paterson has made his choice. Now he has to live with it--and the Kennedys. For four generations, the political dynasty has refused to play nice with fellow Democrats who don't do their bidding. From experiencing primary challenges to discovering secret support of their Republican opponents, Democrats can attest best the vengeful nature of the first family of Massachusetts politics. Read my article at The American Spectator to find out what awaits the New York governor who dared bypass Caroline Kennedy.

Talk about a cluster f*&^! An incidental Governor plus a pampered scion and member of the LSC equals a convoluted disorganized dramatic mess. The blind (pun pardoned I hope) leading the blind.

The days of Camelot are over and the so-called Kennedy Mystique is over as well. These days, from a majority, there seems to be less awe and more disdain for a weak minded, pompous and arrogant group of wealthy has-beens.

Will Patterson pay the price? Maybe. But maybe not and in the immortal words of Moe Greene as applied to the Kennedys: they don’t have that kind of muscle anymore.

Don't forget how Moe Greene ended up.

Yep. Actually, Moe said: they don't have that kind of muscle no more.

I remember how he ended up.

Someone put a bullet in his eye. No one knows who gave the order. When I heard it, I wasn't angry. I knew Moe, I knew he was headstrong, talking loud, saying stupid things. So, when he turned up dead, I let it go.

And I said to myself: "This is the business we've CHOSEN!"

I'm looking forward to the day Horowitz recants of the damage he has helped cause as a neo-con, esp. what with his shrill calls for endless war in the Middle East and jettisoning of our civil liberties at home in the name of "defense" against "terror."

Those Hyman Roth lines are some of my favorites. Spoken like a man from another time who truly understands the responsibilities of a dangerous profession.
