Dan Rather still doesn't believe the Texas Air National Guard documents disparaging President Bush that he broadcast are forgeries. So why, and to whom, did he apologize? Rather's lame act of contrition Monday night didn't kill the Rathergate story. My NewsMax article shows that it's only just begun.

Dan Rather is another insane liberal. He still insists that they are looking for the original documents and that, when they are found, will be presented forthwith.

This whole Rathergate thing has risen to dangerous proportions for the Left in general and the Dems in particular and deserves some prosecutorial attention from our government.

To find out that this leftist nutbag Burkett has been trying to pass these phony docs off to anybody who would listen and then have 60 Minutes producer Mapes hook him up with Joe Lockhart of Kerry Campaign fame is unbelievable stuff!!

Also very convenient (and coincidental of course) was the the Kerry Campaign releases its ‘Favorite Son’ advert days after the 60 Minutes piece. Remarkably, in that ad, clips of the phony 60 Minutes segment are used.

The evidence for the suspected and likely collusion between the liberal, agenda driven CBS piece and the Democratic campaign for John Kerry is pretty clear and should be thoroughly investigated. Heads should roll!!

Just more evidence of what I have suspected for a long time, namely, that mainstream journalists on average are much stupider than the American population at large. I suppose taking a cue from Dan's book we can see it as ideological blindness and thus a form of intellectual hubris and pride but as far as journalists are concerned I really think they are also pretty dumb.

Sure, Mary Mapes and Dan Rather could be mostly motivated by ideology and hatred of Bush but I also think they just simply lack common sense and are just too stupid to realize how miserably dumb it was to run on a story with documents their experts couldn't authenticate.

George Will pointed out in a recent column that "on the second night of the Republican convention, Rather, perhaps determined to use some canned ad libs no matter how inapposite reality made them, declared that Arnold Schwarzenegger's speech had 'slapped (Bush's) opponent, Sen. John Kerry, around like a hockey puck.' The number of times Schwarzenegger mentioned Kerry: zero."

The guy is really slipping in his dotage and apparently no one with any intelligence is available at CBS to rein him in or clean up the mess.

I have said to my children for years now that the mainstream, prime time journalists are communists bent on the destruction of the United States. My children are now seeing first hand what I have meant all this time.
Freedom of press has a great deal of responsibility associated with it, some implied, most assumed and too much ignored. It is high time the U.S. Attorney General initiate libel investigations against every one of the major news media; television, radio, and print.
It is not the written and spoken policies of a sitting President that turns a nation and world, it is the reporting of those policies. The responsibility of accurate journalism is to report the news, not twist it to fit the sensationalism of the moment for the express purpose of swaying national and world views.

So it appears that John Kerry may be complicit in the slander of a sitting President with the help of a major liberal media outlet using phony forged documents.

This is the guy who wants to be President.

The same guy who still won’t release all of his military records (at least a chosen 31 page subset) while projecting himself to be a war hero.

The same guy who met with NVA representatives in Paris to sympathize with them and them came back to accuse his comrades in arms of war crimes and various atrocities.

Think he better concentrate on keeping Teresa happy and duping the public in Massachusetts again to get back to the Senate.

Bush didn't do shiet in the military. If he did there would be clear records saying so, nothing would've ever been hidden. And who really gives a fok either way? Citizens in the US no longer have any rights at all, plus the US has gone and invaded a soverign nation. All you sheep who believe whatever the gov controlled media tellz you should just die.
